WHAT THIS SERVICE IS ?
This SERVICE is a DATABASE housing tenant experiences of member landlords who have personally input these experiences into our central database. We do not provide Credit Reports! This database is accessible to member landlords for the purpose of determining the past rental history of tenants who are applying for new tenancy.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ?
Landlords in general do not have the ability to report their tenant experiences to credit bureaus since bureaus do not compile this information. Credit bureau reports may determine the payment habits of a person as it relates to a visa or car loan but these items are seldom related to rental payment habits. More importantly, those tenants with a history of leaving landlords with excessive damages are often un-traceable and leave with impunity.
The very first time that a prospective landlord has screened a tenant who has left a former landlord with excessive damages, the value of membership is repaid many times over.
WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY ?
MPG Design compiles and releases only factual information submitted by the member landlords and does not share personal information. Items that may be considered as personal are stored in a protected database and used for identification only. Without specific identification, MPG Design will still provide a report itemizing all tenants with the same name along with any contact information supplied by their previous landlord.
IS EVERY TENANT RECORDED ?
No ….. only those who have been submitted by member landlords. However, our database is growing rapidly as landlords across Canada are realizing the benefits of membership.
WHAT’S THE COST ?
There is no monetary cost for the use of this service! We do not accept or utilize advertising on this site but if you feel this service is a benefit to you donations are accepted and encouraged to help keep the costs of maintaining this database to a minimum.
Registered Members are permitted to search as often as they wish in their attempts to screen prospective tenants. There are no limitations.
